DSD-101LC

The DSD-101LC integrates a digital sound system, headlight and backup light and a DCC decoder into a single, miniature electronic module.
The DSD-101LC comes in seven models; three for Steam engines and four for Diesel locomotives.
This decoder comes equipped with an NMRA-compatible 8-pin plug for easy installation.

The SoundTraxx LC Series Digital Sound Decoders are compatible with the NMRA Standards and Recommended Practices.

Supports 7 bit address modes for compatibility with 'simple' systems
Supports 14 bit address modes for addressing any Loco number up to 9,999

The SoundTraxx DSD-101LC is a Digital Sound Decoder the benefits of today’s DCC technology
with the addition of high quality, digital onboard sound.
Each DSD-101LC installs inside your locomotive and integrates a full featured digital sound system,
lights and a DCC decoder into a single, electronic module.
The DSD-101LC comes in three steam models and four models for Diesel locomotives.
The SoundTraxx DSD-101LC has many of the same features you can find in our premium decoders,
and a few new features of their own.
More independent volume controls allow you to customize to suit your ear.
Three built in whistles or airhorns allow you to use the same model for your
switcher, freight or passenger engine and still give them their own unique personality!
With its NMRA-compatible eight-pin plug, the DSD-101LC is great for those just getting started with sound,
and if you already love all the features in our premium decoders,
